AS Brief

AS Brief
The AS Brief covers all of the of the work inside of the first unit and it only states the two main objectives of the unit but it also means that if we complete these two tasks properly then we will complete everything we need to do. The two main objectives are to create a one minute preliminary and to create a two minute film.

Preliminary Exercise: When we first started this unit one of the first things we had to do was get into groups and film a 1 minute film. In this task we have to make sure that all of the footage that is in our film has to be our own original footage and cannot be taken from somewhere else. We did this task so that we could get hands on experience with a camera and so that we could get a good understanding of different shots.

Main Task: In this part of the unit we had to create a two minute film that has a opening title sequence for both the movie and a production company that the groups have to create, and has to completely original footage. To go into more detail each group has to create a production company that goes well with the type of film they are creating and create a logo and opening credits to go along with it. It is the same as with the preliminary exercise in a sense because you have to create a short film that has completely original content in it and people must not have used footage from anyware else.
