Nine-Frame Analysis

At this point in the movie the group had held up in a pub and barricaded the doors and the windows to stop the zombies from getting in but it failed as all of the zombies realised where they were and converged on their location.

 

This shot is a medium/close up shot of and was to show the expression on Shaun's face and to show his emotions to the situation. It is also there nto show how he is reacting to the events around him. I think it is good because to shows

This next shot is a wide angle/medium shot and was put here to show how his actions were effecting the events around him. I think it is good because it shows how his efforts to stop the incoming threat are futile.

This shot is a close up on what another character, Ed, was contributing to the situation at hand. This is good because it was a quick idea he had to come up with in the short amount of time he had because he is rushing he fumbles about.

This medium shot is a continuation of the last shot and was put there to show the situation around Ed and it was to show exactly what he is doing instead of just focusing in on the object in his hand.

At this point it switches back to a medium shot of Shaun to show how he is progressing with his attempt to stop the threat and it was put there to show his emotion and his emotions on the situation. At this point he starts to panic because he starts to miss when he shoot the Winchester rifle.

This medium shot was to show the effects of Shaun's attempt to stop the threat and it also shows how he is failing to shoot the zombies in the head and is missing and hitting her chest/shoulder.

This medium/wide shot was put here to show how the threat of zombies are effecting another character, Liz and shows how she is trying the prevent the threat of zombies from escalating. This is good because it is close enough to show the emotion on here face but it also shows how the surroundings are changing.

 

This medium shot/ over the shoulder shot from the zombies shoulder was put here to show the expression and emotion of Liz and to show how Shaun is acting and moving behind her.

This medium shot was put here to show the progress Ed has made to help stop the threat of zombies. At this point the camera is quickly switching between medium shots and over the shoulder shot of all the characters to show their situation and to show how panicked and fast paced it is.
